An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Trade Operative to work for a Social Housing Contractor on a permanent basis, covering Croydon and surrounding areas . The role offers a salary of up to 38,000 - 40,500 per annum . Successful operatives will be required to work within occupied social housing properties , carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance . Working Hours 08:00am - 17:00pm Up to 7 jobs per day Duties Include Carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties Completing a variety of trade works including basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, painting and decorating Repairing and replacing doors, locks, kitchens, sanitary ware, skirting boards, architraves and other household fixtures and fittings Diagnosing and resolving general maintenance issues within domestic properties Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents Optional participation in out-of-hours call-out work Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard You Will Be Supplied With Company van Fuel card Required Have experience working within social housing properties Be skilled across a range of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling and decorating Provide your own basic hand and power tools Have access to a smartphone (jobs issued via an app; BYOD allowance paid at 20 per month) Be reliable, professional and able to work independently Hold a full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits Up to 38,000 per annum Company van and fuel card provided 20 per month BYOD allowance Permanent position with optional call-out opportunities
