WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: To become a Personal Tutor in our Electrical department, we need someone who is experienced, passionate and has good communication skills. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities. Although this position is based at our Bromsgrove campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. You will support in many aspects, to name a few: Support delivery of tutorial programmes and student induction. Help students settle in and develop a sense of belonging. Plan and deliver tailored group tutorials. Provide study skills, learning strategies, and career guidance. Set targets, track progress, and monitor attendance. Identify and support at-risk students through interventions. Provide feedback to improve performance and personal development. Maintain records and use systems (ILP) to track progress. Work with support services and advocate for vulnerable students. Assist with references, progression, and disciplinary actions. Support teaching, learning activities, and assessment. Use appropriate teaching methods and digital tools (ILT). Contribute to lesson planning, resources, and assessment processes. ABOUT US.
