Job Description

Lecturer in Access to Land-Based Studies (Animal & Countryside Management) 18 hours per week, Fixed term until 31 August 2027 £34,421 - £41,074 per annum pro rata We are looking for a committed course leader to join our Access to Higher Education team. Access to HE Land-Based Studies Level 3 Diploma (validated by CAVA) provides adult learners with the key knowledge and skills needed to progress onto higher education study in Animal Science, Zoology, and Wildlife & Conservation at level 4. This course is a well-established course delivered at Easton. Key Responsibilities: • Provide course leadership, by overseeing the day to day running of the course • Deliver established core and subject based teaching units on the Access to HE Land-Based Studies • Update units where necessary. • Work collaboratively with the Personal Development Coach and wider support teams to ensure that adult learners are well supported and prepared for their next steps or higher education study Skills / Experience Required: • A recognised teaching qualification • Experience of teaching adult learners • Industry experience in land-based or related field • Curriculum and unit development experience • Knowledge of CAVA qualification would be desirable but not essential Closing date for applications: - 6 September 2026 at Midnight
