Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnering with a large and well-established organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Procurement Project Advisor to join their procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy function that delivers a wide range of strategic procurement projects while supporting key organisational objectives and driving value across the business. Your new role As Procurement Project Advisor, you will support the delivery of procurement and commercial activities across a diverse portfolio of spend areas. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will develop sourcing strategies, manage tender processes, provide procurement guidance, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. You will build strong relationships across the organisation, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies, support supplier performance management, and contribute to the successful delivery of procurement projects. The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied range of categories while helping to drive continuous improvement and value for money. What you'll need to succeed CIPS Level 4 qualification or equivalent. At least two years' experience working within a procurement function in a large organisation. Experience managing end-to-end tendering and sourcing activities. Knowledge of contract and commercial terms and conditions. Experience using e-tendering or e-sourcing platforms. Demonstrable experience delivering procurement benefits, including cost savings, efficiencies or cost avoidance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
