A warm, busy family in Yorkshire are looking for an experienced, loving and proactive full-time nanny to join their family. They have two children, aged 3 and 4. The children are happy, active and outdoorsy, enjoying swimming, outdoor adventures, family mealtimes and a lovely daily routine. The eldest will be attending nursery, while the nanny will take responsibility for the children's day-to-day care and activities. This is a sole-charge role, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:30pm. Duties will include managing the children's routines, preparing meals, taking them to activities and classes, children's laundry and ironing, and creating a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment. There may also be opportunities for occasional babysitting and additional ad hoc hours.The parents have a relaxed, hands-on parenting style and place a strong emphasis on manners, kindness and creating a loving family environment. The ideal nanny will be warm, caring, proactive and confident, with plenty of initiative and their own ideas. They are looking for someone who communicates well, takes pride in their work, is happy to become part of the family and is seeking a stable, long-term position. Personality fit is particularly important. A clean driving licence and confidence driving with the children are essential. The family have a cleaner, so the role is focused primarily on the children. An annex is available, making the position suitable for either a live-in or live-out nanny.
