About this role: We are seeking to recruit an inspiring Cover Supervisor to join our enthusiastic and professional team for 32.5 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to directly support students and staff at King Alfred's Academy and to enhance the learning outcomes for our student body. The Successful applicant will have high expectations of all students and be committed to raising educational achievement in classes across both the curriculum and academic years. Flexibility is key as the daily role is is a reactive one, requiring you to move where the need is greatest. You will be joining a school that has a well-deserved reputation for its inclusive and caring ethos. Our students are loyal and friendly and respond well to teachers who are caring and who have high expectations. Training will be given, but it would be an advantage to have classroom experience; hence, the role would suit an existing Teaching Assistant looking to expand and develop their career within education or a graduate considering a future in Teaching. Ideally, the post holders will be able to work 5 days per week 8:20 -3:20pm with a 30 minute unpaid rest break each day. However, part-time working patterns will be also be considered.
