Warehouse Operative

Hours: 35 to 40hr per week / Full-time - Permanent Please DO NOT apply if you are not a UK resident or are currently in the UK and eligible to work. Medical Supplier to a niche global market seeks Warehouse Operative to join our small but growing team to assist across all day-to-day warehouse functions. Candidates should be able to work in a busy, physically demanding role dealing with all aspects of warehouse work including picking/packing of orders and the processing of incoming and outgoing stock. The role will require a high level of accuracy in completing delegated tasks plus the ability to work under pressure and proactively both within the team and independently. Candidate must be honest, self-motivated and reliable with a willingness to learn. We are a small growing company and are seeking candidates looking for longer term career development within a niche but interesting industry. Previous experience in a warehouse environment an advantage. Good communication skills both written and verbal essential plus basic proficiency in Word/Excel. Good command of English is essential. Internal training shall be provided and carried out through practical on-the-job learning. Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Goods in receipt - checking and confirming all received stock is correct Picking & Packing of orders Bar coding / labelling / tagging of stock Loading and unloading of stock deliveries and client orders Efficiently completing all activities as delegated Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Organisation and rotation of all stock, including cycle counts and reporting discrepancies Liaising with quality control and purchasing for returned / damaged / incorrect stock. Proactively assist across all aspect of the business as needed.
