Job Title: Plumber Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, Greater London Remuneration: £35.00 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, End Date: 23rd December 2026 Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a skilled Plumber. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following: Conducting minor plumbing repairs and maintenance in accordance with established protocols. Assisting the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment and systems. Performing general office maintenance tasks such as installing keyboard trays, hanging pictures, and repairing office furniture. Maintaining light fixtures, including changing light bulbs and ballasts. Completing special tasks as assigned, which may include painting, locksmith work, and general cleaning. Managing minor repairs to the site's lawn and grounds. Moving office furniture, machinery, and other materials as required. Complying with safety policies and participating in safety training to maintain a safe work environment. Keeping records of work completed in a neat and organised manner. Assisting other operational staff members in the maintenance and repair of building equipment. Setting up Maximo routes and performing Maximo data entry as necessary. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this role require the employee to regularly stand, use hands for handling, and communicate verbally. Frequent walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching is necessary. The position requires the ability to lift and move weights of up to 100 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This role involves working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, and may be subject to extreme weather conditions. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and various environmental conditions is expected. Requirements: Candidates must possess a City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing. A strong commitment to regular and predictable attendance is essential to support the needs of the team and the client. Furthermore, adherence to policies regarding the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials is required.
