Quantum Scholars are looking for a Compliance & Resource Consultant to join our team in Cowes. This is a varied role combining candidate compliance and recruitment resourcing. We work with schools and Local Authorities across England, supplying teachers, tutors and education support staff. Ensuring that every candidate is properly vetted, compliant and ready to work is a vital part of what we do. The Role A large part of your role will involve supporting candidates through our compliance and clearance process, including: Checking candidate documentation and maintaining accurate compliance records Processing and monitoring Enhanced DBS checks Checking identification and Right to Work documentation Obtaining and following up professional references Ensuring safeguarding and other required documentation is completed Keeping candidates updated throughout the clearance process Maintaining accurate information on our internal systems Identifying outstanding compliance requirements and proactively chasing these through to completion Supporting the wider team to ensure candidates can be cleared for work quickly and safely Alongside compliance, you will also help us grow our network of teachers and tutors by: Searching for suitable candidates through job boards, databases and other recruitment channels Advertising teaching and tutoring opportunities Contacting and speaking with prospective candidates Completing initial candidate screening Building relationships with teachers, tutors and education professionals Helping identify suitable candidates for current and upcoming requirements Who We're Looking For You don't necessarily need previous education recruitment experience, but you will need to be organised, confident and comfortable dealing with people. The role would suit someone who: Has excellent attention to detail Is highly organised and able to manage a number of tasks at once Is confident speaking with people by phone and email Is comfortable chasing outstanding information and keeping processes moving Takes compliance, safeguarding and accuracy seriously Has good IT and administrative skills Enjoys working as part of a small, friendly team Can work independently and take ownership of their workload Has a positive and proactive approach What We Offer £25,000-£26,500 basic salary Additional bonus opportunities 22 days' annual leave Reduced working hours during school holidays A varied role with the opportunity to develop experience across both recruitment and compliance A friendly and supportive working environment This is an office-based position in Cowes, Isle of Wight, and hybrid working is not available.
