Job role:Finance & Operations Officer Pay rate: £15.58 per hour + holiday pay Contract:Temporary Assignment (4 months) Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire Hybrid Working:1day per week in office, 4 days from home An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance & Operations Officer to join aNational health charityduring a period of temporary cover. This varied role sits at the heart of the organisation, providing essential finance and operational support to ensure day-to-day activities continue to run smoothly. You'll be joining a collaborative team where your contribution will be valued from day one and where you'll have the opportunity to support a wide range of finance and business functions. What you'll be doing Key responsibilities will include: Managing purchase ledger processes Processing supplier invoices and expense claims Supporting bank payments and reconciliations Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving queries Raising and monitoring purchase orders Supporting colleagues with expenses and purchasing processes Assisting with income processing and financial administration Supporting month-end activities Providing wider operational and administrative support where required Monitoring shared finance inboxes and responding to enquiries Working closely with colleagues to ensure a high-quality finance and operations service What we're looking for To be successful in this role, you'll have: Previous purchase ledger experience Charity experience would be desirable however not essential Invoice processing knowledge Experience withXero, ApprovalMax and Raiser's Edge desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail A flexible and adaptable approach A proactive, can-do attitude The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Confidence working independently and as part of a team We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
