Traffic Survey Technician
Location: Based in London, covering London and the surrounding boroughs.
Hours: Flexible, including days, nights and weekends
We're looking for a Traffic Survey Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll install, monitor and remove survey equipment to collect traffic, transport and pedestrian data across a variety of locations.
You'll work with technologies including ANPR, video, radar and Automatic Traffic Counters (ATCs), ensuring surveys are completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
What You'll Do
- Set up, monitor and recover traffic survey equipment.
- Carry out traffic and pedestrian surveys.
- Ensure high-quality data is collected and recorded accurately.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Complete site reports and provide updates to the Project Team.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Travel to survey sites across London and the surrounding boroughs.
- Support the wider team with survey preparation and site reviews when required.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work at heights of up to 5 metres.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment.
- Flexible and willing to work days, nights and weekends.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
- Lantra or CSCS qualifications are desirable.
