Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accountancy while gaining practical experience and working towards an AAT qualification.As part of our client services team, you will support a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. Working alongside experienced accountants, you will assist with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and basic accounts preparation, helping clients maintain accurate financial records and meet statutory deadlines.Monday - Friday 9am - 5pmKey ResponsibilitiesProcessing and maintaining client bookkeeping recordsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsAssisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and management accountsReconciling bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
