The Role Due to continued growth and investment in new machinery, our client is looking to recruit a CNC Operator to join their workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys working on varied, bespoke projects rather than high-volume production. You'll be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision-cut components used in the manufacture of custom-built sets, displays and installations, working closely with designers, carpenters and the wider production team. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files and cutting programmes Produce accurate timber, MDF, plywood and sheet material components Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required specifications Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order Load materials safely and monitor machining processes Work closely with the design and workshop teams to ensure projects are delivered on time Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Assist with workshop duties when required during busy production periods About You Previous experience operating CNC machinery Experience working with timber, MDF or sheet materials is desirabl
