We're recruiting for a General Foreman to join a highly successful contractor delivering major energy, power, infrastructure and civil engineering projects across East Anglia. Working closely with Site Managers, Engineers and Project Managers, you'll take responsibility for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of site operations while leading construction teams and driving high standards of safety, quality and productivity. The Role As General Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinating labour, plant and materials to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervising day-to-day site operations on civil engineering and energy projects. Managing direct labour, subcontractors and specialist trades. Coordinating labour, plant, materials and site resources. Driving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme and project requirements. Supporting Site Managers with planning, logistics and delivery activities. Monitoring productivity and progress against programme. Managing site records, permits and reporting requirements. Liaising with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives.
