Higher Level Teaching Assistant To commence September 2026 32.5 hours/week, term time only Fixed term contract until 31st August 2027 We are looking for an enthusiastic HLTA to support our Teachers in delivering high quality learning at Thames Ditton Junior School. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of our pupils. A relevant qualification and/or previous experience working with children is essential. This role is also well suited to someone considering a career in teaching who wishes to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting teaching and learning. Fluency in French would be an advantage, although it is not essential. We are looking for an individual who: can lead a whole class; can deliver a programme of work and assess its impact; is proactive, positive, calm and flexible; has high expectations and is resilient; has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; is committed to working as part of a team; shares our vision and aims for all of our pupils; is dedicated and committed to the success of the school. Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership is a small, friendly multi academy trust located on the borders of South West London between Surbiton and Esher, Surrey; and includes a 3 form entry primary school, 3 form entry junior school and a co-educational secondary academy supporting students from 11 – 18 years.
