Governess/Governor West London S alary: Competitive, depending on experience. One of our private clients requires a governess or governor to join their private household in West London, supporting three children with their education and after-school routine. The Role This is a newly created position within a private family household, offered on an immediate basis. The family have three children — a girl of 10, a girl of 7, and a boy of 5 — who have recently relocated to London. The children are fluent German speakers, and while their English is sufficient for school admission, further development is a key focus of this role. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the children from school pick-up until approximately 6 or 7pm, with exact hours to be confirmed. There is likely to be no requirement to travel during school holidays. Responsibilities Taking responsibility for the children after school each day Supporting all three children with homework and schoolwork Overseeing the children's educational progress Helping to improve the children's spoken and written English Liaising with the schools as required Managing the usual after-school routines and activities Requirements English as your first language is an essential requirement Experience working with children aged 5-10 essential Strong educational or governess/governor background German language skills a significant advantage, though not essential Working days : Monday to Friday We appreciate your interest in this role.
