Join our dedicated Science team as a Physics Technician and play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality practical science at Beaconsfield High School. Working closely with the Senior Science Technician and teaching staff, you will prepare laboratories, equipment, materials and demonstrations for lessons, provide technical support to staff and students, and help ensure that practical activities are safe, effective and engaging. The role will also involve maintaining equipment and stock, supporting experiments and projects, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the Physics department. We are looking for an organised, proactive and flexible individual who can work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Experience of laboratory work and knowledge of health and safety procedures would be desirable, as would a City & Guilds (or equivalent) Science Technicians qualification or an A Level in a Science subject.
