WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: To become a Technician in our Construction department, we need someone who is organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities. Although this position is based at our Malvern campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. You will support in many aspects, to name a few: Support the day-to-day operation of construction/building services workshops. Maintain and clean workshop equipment and facilities. Ensure health, safety, and compliance procedures are followed. Assist teaching staff with practical demonstrations and learning activities. Supervise and deliver pre-planned practical sessions when required. Set up, dismantle, and manage workshop equipment. Order materials and maintain stock levels. Complete risk assessments and COSHH documentation. Support open days, events, and learner activities. Open, secure, and oversee workshop premises as required. ABOUT US.
