Office Angels are recruiting for an Administrator for a well-established UK Government organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset to be part of a lively, collaborative team.

This role will be central to the smooth running of day-to-day operations, supporting the wider team and taking on varied responsibilities, including data migration, handling confidential documentation in-line with GDPR.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a consistently high standard.


• Deliver a professional and responsive service to both internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns in line with agreed performance targets.


• Use available systems and data effectively to manage records and respond to enquiries.


• Support data entry, retrieval, and allocation processes, and contribute to risk assessment activities where appropriate.


• Assist with procedures related to legal or tribunal work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.


• Contribute flexibly to team objectives, supporting various work streams as needed and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.


• Demonstrate the organisation's core values in all interactions with colleagues and customers.

What we're looking for:

• Previous office-based administration experience.


• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.


• Strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude.


• Confident relationship builder with great interpersonal skills.


• Comfortable working independently in a lively office environment.


• Competent with MS Office (particularly Excel).


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
