About the Role Sword Dynamic Services Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Construction Driver / Yard & Site Support Operative to join our team. This is not simply a driving position. We are looking for someone who has previous general building or construction experience, understands how construction sites operate and is happy to get involved with a wide variety of practical duties. The successful candidate will support our site teams by delivering materials and equipment, collecting waste and surplus materials from projects, keeping our yard and stores organised, and helping ensure our teams have what they need to complete their work efficiently. A company truck and fuel card will be provided. Key Responsibilities Collect construction waste, rubbish and surplus materials from sites and take them to the appropriate authorised facility or company yard. Deliver building materials, tools and equipment to projects across the region. Collect materials and orders from builders' merchants and suppliers. Load and unload materials safely and securely. Support site teams with moving materials and equipment when required. Keep the company yard, stores and storage areas clean, tidy and well organised. Organise stock so materials can be easily identified and accessed. Monitor general stock levels and inform management when commonly used materials need replenishing. Receive deliveries into the yard and check them against orders where required. Ensure tools, equipment and unused materials returned from sites are stored correctly. Help reduce waste by identifying materials that can be reused on other projects. Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy and presentable. Carry out basic daily vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance requirements. Ensure loads are safe and properly secured before travelling.
