Electrical Estimator Scotland 55,000 - 80,000 + Excellent Benefits Your new company Due to a significant increase in secured workload across major defence, infrastructure and commercial projects, our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction team.This well-established M&E contractor has developed an outstanding reputation for delivering complex building services projects throughout Scotland. With a strong pipeline of secured projects across commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, defence and public sector environments, they are continuing to invest in their pre-construction function and are looking to appoint a talented Electrical Estimator to support future growth. Your new role As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for a range of building services projects across Scotland.Working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and operational teams, you will play a key role in securing profitable new business and ensuring successful project delivery from the outset. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed electrical estimates and competitive tender submissions. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Carrying out take-offs and producing accurate cost plans. Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations. Identifying value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions. Assessing project risks, opportunities and commercial viability. Supporting bid submissions and tender presentations. Liaising with project delivery teams during project handover. Maintaining awareness of market conditions, labour costs and material pricing. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
