Job Description

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a major project in Bristol. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking to secure long term work and be part of one of the UKs largest projects. You will play a key role in the delivery of this major infrastructure project, working within a safe, high-performing and collaborative environment. Pay rate: £33.00PAYE Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm + overtime potential Start Date: ASAP Lodge pay can be offered if the successful candidate meets the criteria. As a Mechanical Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to: Supervising and coordinating mechanical trades and subcontractors on site Manage day to day mechanical installation, maintenance and repair activities Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance to project specifications and drawings Coordinate mechanical activities with other teams Review RAMS, permits, drawings and other relevant construction documentation before work commences Support planned and reactive maintenance Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with HSE requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: CSCS NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Fluid Power) OR NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance OR NVQ Level 3 Machinery Maintenance SMSTS or SSSTS Safety Critical Medical (desirable) For the right candidate, this is a great opportunity to work on a major project on a long term basis.
