Mechanical Supervisor Location: Woking Employment Type: Permanent or Contract Start Date: September 2026 About the Role We are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join a leading specialist pipework fabrication and installation contractor delivering major projects across London and the South East. Our client is a highly respected MEP subcontractor, working with some of the UK's largest Tier 1 contractors on a portfolio of commercial fit-out and data centre projects , with mechanical package values ranging from 5m to 25m . This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong order book and a significant pipeline of projects commencing throughout the final quarter of the year. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site. Lead and manage mechanical operatives, subcontractors, and specialist trades. Ensure all mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and drawings. Monitor site progress against programme requirements and report updates to Project Managers and Site Management teams. Allocate labour, materials, plant, and equipment effectively to maximise productivity. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and installation details to ensure accurate project delivery. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet required standards. Carry out toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings. Complete and maintain site records, progress reports, permits, inspections, and quality documentation. Coordinate mechanical works with other trades and subcontractors to minimise programme delays. Assist with material planning, deliveries, and storage to ensure uninterrupted workflow. Support commissioning, testing, and project handover activities. Attend site meetings and provide regular progress and productivity updates. Promote a positive
