Are you an Electrician with experience working within the Maintenance and Facilities Management sector Rydon Maintenance Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol. Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides a range of hard facilities management and property maintenance services in partnership with a range of NHS Trusts. We provide reactive and planned maintenance to a number of NHS buildings and we work to strict timescales and safety requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of service users using these NHS facilities. With offices in the South East, to Bristol in the South West our experience has taken us across a variety of sensitive healthcare environments. Job Purpose As part of the role you will be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance (PPM's) and reactive repairs at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol; Key responsibilities include; Reactive maintenance and repairs such as power and lighting faults Planned preventative maintenance (PPM's) such as emergency lighting and fire alarm testing. Maintain and repair electrical systems and associated plant. Respond to breakdowns, fault-find and complete minor and small installations. Assist other trades and get involved with other general building fabric repairs. There will also be the requirement to participate in the call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support. The normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. When on-call you will receive a standby allowance. You will also have use of a company pool van when on-call.
