Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and aviation regulations. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems. Carry out repairs, component replacements, modifications, and defect rectification. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved maintenance data, aircraft manuals, and regulatory requirements. Inspect aircraft systems and components to identify defects and potential safety issues. Complete accurate maintenance records, technical logs, and documentation. Coordinate with maintenance control, engineering, flight operations, and other technical teams. Support aircraft maintenance checks, including transit, daily, A-check, and other scheduled inspections. Ensure proper use, handling, and control of tools, equipment, and aircraft components. Follow all company safety, quality, and occupational health procedures. Report maintenance findings and recurring defects to the relevant engineering or management team. Maintain awareness of applicable aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, and safety standards. Requirements Relevant degree, diploma, or technical qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. Valid AME license or relevant aviation authority certification, where applicable. Experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably with commercial or regional aircraft. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, technical documentation, and regulatory requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance practices. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety.
