Fringe Start Date: October 2026 About the Photography Department: Rickmansworth School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Photography Technician to join our creative and supportive department. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on students’ artistic development and inspire their passion for photography. As a Photography Technician, you will play a key role in supporting practical lessons, maintaining equipment and resources, and ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed in both the classroom and specialist darkrooms. You will be at the heart of our Photography Department, providing essential support across Key Stages 3-5. In addition, you will manage the straightforward administration of departmental materials, including issuing invoices to parents for student use of resources and ensuring that payments are collected and accurately recorded. Following the success of the department over several decades, the department has expanded and, this summer, we have invested over £300,000 to move the department’s location to a bespoke new floor of the Art & Photography block. The brand new facilities include a teaching classroom, an extensive library, a black & white darkroom and a colour darkroom.
