Site Operative

You'll work as part of the team responsible for keeping our school safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming. Your work will include: general repairs and maintenance; maintaining buildings and grounds; routine health, safety and compliance checks; opening and securing the school; supporting contractors and improvement works; responding to day-to-day maintenance requests; supporting deliveries, events and room setups; and helping maintain high standards across the site. The team works across planned AM, Day and PM shifts , with rota's provided in advance. About you We're looking for someone who: is practical and willing to get stuck in; takes pride in doing a job well; is reliable and works well as part of a team; can organise and prioritise their work; communicates well with others; understands the importance of working safely; and wants to learn and develop. Previous maintenance, estates or trade experience would be useful, but attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
