Job Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant. You will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the school. Working hours 8.30 am - 3.30 pm, Monday - Friday, this includes 0.5 hours for lunch which is unpaid. This role is ideal for someone with strong classroom experience, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for helping pupils reach their full potential. Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver tailored support for individuals and small groups, you will be helping to reinforce learning, manage behaviour, and promote pupil engagement. With your advanced skills and knowledge, you will take responsibility for leading specific interventions, supporting pupils with additional needs, and contributing to assessment and progress tracking. In addition to classroom support, you will cover lessons in the short-term absence of a teacher, demonstrating confidence and initiative in managing the learning environment. Your ability to build on positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families will be essential in creating a nurturing and inclusive school community.
