Commercial Vehicle Body Builder Are you an experienced Vehicle Body Builder looking to join a well-established and growing engineering business? We are seeking skilled and motivated Commercial Vehicle Body Builders to work on the manufacture, assembly, modification and repair of large commercial vehicle bodies near Wisbech. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team producing high-quality vehicle bodies for a wide range of commercial applications. Key Responsibilities: Building and assembling commercial vehicle bodies to engineering drawings and specifications Fitting body panels, floors, roofs, doors and ancillary components Carrying out repairs, modifications and refurbishment work on existing vehicle bodies Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively Working with steel, aluminium and composite materials Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and customer standards Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in commercial vehicle body building, coachbuilding, trailer building or a similar engineering environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment Knowledge of fabrication, fitting and assembly techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Desirable Experience: Experience working on HGVs, trailers, specialist vehicles or commercial transport equipment Mechanical fitting or vehicle assembly background What's on Offer: Up to £17/hour based on experience Monday to Thursday 6am to 4.30pm (40 hr/week) Voluntary Overtime opportunities Modern workshop environment Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting commercial vehicle projects If you have experience building, repairing or modifying commercial vehicle bodies, we'd like to hear from you.
