Mobile Laundry Operative

Mobile Laundry Operative Hours: Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour Location: South Cerney We are looking for a r eliable, switched-on and hardworking Mobile Laundry Operatives to join our clients team in South Cerney. The role involves delivering clean laundry to customers, collecting dirty laundry, and preparing everything ready for the following day. You will mainly be working within a close local area, with approximately 20–45 deliveries and collections per day and be prepared to drive a company van. The Role Your duties will include: Delivering clean laundry to customers Collecting dirty laundry and bringing it back to the laundry Stripping beds where required Ensuring all dirty washing is returned to the laundry Reloading and preparing the laundry for the next day's work Loading and unloading the van Keeping the van clean, tidy and organised Providing friendly and professional customer service Following daily delivery and collection schedules About You We're looking for someone who is: Over 21 years old Holds a full UK driving licence with a clean driving record Reliable, punctual and hardworking Switched on and able to use initiative A quick learner who can pick up new routines quickly Friendly and professional with customers Organised and able to work efficiently Comfortable working independently Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting when required Comfortable working at a fast pace and managing multiple deliveries and collections Takes pride in getting the job done properly Previous experience in driving, laundry, housekeeping, cleaning or a similar role would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
