Gas and Heating Engineer

Gas & Heating Engineer We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas & Heating Engineer to join an established and growing business based in Belfast, working across Greater Belfast and County Down, carrying out maintenance and repair works. The company provides gas and oil installation, maintenance and repair services across Northern Ireland, working with a varied client base including Housing Associations, Health Trusts, the Education Authority, Facilities Management companies and Local Councils. Following the award of several new long-term contracts, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Gas & Heating Engineer. The Role As a Gas & Heating Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out reactive gas boiler maintenance and repairs Fault-finding and diagnosing boiler issues Carrying out planned boiler servicing Working across a variety of client properties throughout Greater Belfast and County Down Completing all required paperwork using a company-supplied tablet Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and within contractual deadlines Delivering a professional service to customers and clients What We're Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating Current Gas Safe and/or OFTEC qualifications Previous experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on boilers Experience carrying out heating and boiler installation work Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload Good communication and customer service skills A valid AccessNI Basic Disclosure Certificate will be required for the position What's on Offer £15.50 - £17.50 per hour 8:00am - 5:00pm Permanent, full-time position Optional overtime On-call bonus Training and development opportunities Company pension scheme Company van provided from day one Company tablet Company uniform This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas & Heating Engineer looking for a permanent position with an established company that has secured a number of long-term contracts across Greater Belfast and County Down.
