JOB TITLE: Temporary Medical Receptionist | Immediate Start
LOCATION: Ilminster
HOURLY RATE: £13.00 per hour
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours (can be worked across 4 days)

Are you an experienced Receptionist with a background in healthcare and available to start immediately?
We are supporting a respected healthcare provider in their search for a receptionist to join their friendly team on a temporary basis for 4 to 6 weeks. In this varied and rewarding role, you will be the welcoming face of the organisation, supporting patients with professionalism, empathy, and care while ensuring all information is handled with the utmost confidentiality. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference to patients' experiences from day one.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling incoming calls and responding to patient queries
- Booking appointments and sending confirmations
- Diary management
- Updating the database
- Filing and scanning
KEY SKILLS:
- Prior receptionist experience within the healthcare sector
- High level of customer service skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- IT literate with knowledge of all MS Office packages
- Attention to detail
