Interim Estates Surveyor (General Practice) South Coast | Local Authority A Local Authority in the South East is seeking an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to support its Estates Team during a period of increased workload. The role will involve supporting the management of a diverse estate including retail, industrial, office and community assets, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant work, lease renewals and rent reviews. Key details: Pay rate: £400 - £450 per day (Inside IR35) Working arrangements: Hybrid, 2 days in the office weekly Contract duration: Initially 6 months Start Date: Immediate Key Responsibilities: Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals across a commercial property portfolio. Managing a range of landlord and tenant matters. Advising on property management and asset management issues. Carrying out valuations and providing professional property advice. Supporting the day-to-day management of commercial and operational assets. Liaising with tenants, occupiers, agents, solicitors and internal stakeholders. Ideal candidate: MRICS qualified, or substantial industry experience. Previous experience within Local Government property teams is desirable. Strong landlord and tenant experience. Experience undertaking lease renewals and rent reviews. Ability to manage workload independently and hit the ground running. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
