Construction Planner

Your new company Your New Company A leading construction business is looking to strengthen its pre-construction team with an experienced Construction Planner. You will join an established planning function supporting multiple tenders and pre-construction opportunities rather than one specific project. Your New Role As Construction Planner, you will develop and manage programmes for tender and pre-construction activity, working closely with bid, design, commercial and operational teams. Produce and maintain tender and pre-construction programmes Develop construction methodologies and sequencing plans Identify programme risks, opportunities and constraints Support bid and project teams with planning expertise Assist with programme reporting and progress monitoring Work on a hybrid basis across the Sheffield office, sites and home What You'll Need to Succeed Previous experience as a Construction Planner within construction or infrastructure Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodology and programme management CDM General qualification Understanding of, or training in, NEC4 planning requirements would be advantageous White CSCS Card, IOSH and SMSTS are preferred but not essential Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and projects Basic DBS clearance completed before the start date What You'll Get in Return Competitive Day rate Hybrid working with a mix of office, site and home working Opportunity to support a varied portfolio of tenders and pre-construction projects 40-hour working week Collaborative and supportive team environment What You Need to Do Now If you're an experienced Construction Planner looking for your next opportunity in Sheffield, apply with your up-to-date CV or contact Hays Construction & Property for a confidential discussion. #4738630 - Ben Brown
