Direct Marketing Officer Role Overview The Talent Set are delighted to partner with an amazing charity on a fantastic Direct Marketing Officer role lasting 3 months . This position involves developing and executing targeted marketing strategies to engage and grow supporter bases, contributing to the organisation’s fundraising and awareness objectives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement direct marketing campaigns across various channels, including mail, email, and digital platforms. Analyse supporter data to personalise communications and optimise engagement. Monitor campaign performance, producing reports to inform future strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing activities with organisational goals. Manage budgets and timelines effectively to ensure timely delivery of campaigns. Maintain supporter databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations. Identify opportunities to increase supporter retention and acquisition through innovative marketing approaches. Person Specification Proven experience in direct marketing, preferably within the charity or nonprofit sector. Strong analytical skills and experience using supporter or customer data to inform marketing strategies. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects effectively. Competent in using digital marketing tools, email platforms, and CRM systems. A collaborative approach, with the ability to work well with diverse teams. Attention to detail and organisational skills ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
