Job Description To support the Active Stirling Walk Leaders and Volunteers who deliver our weekly walks. Working across the Stirling area, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred walking programme, assisting the walk leaders and volunteers and continue to allow more people to benefit from living an active, healthy lifestyle.   This post is fixed term for 10 months in line with funding.  Requirements• Walking Scotland Walk Leader (although training can be delivered if you don’t already have this)• Experience of working with the public and providing a high level of customer service, particularly older adults• Ability to work effectively as a team member and forge strong links with partners• Familiar with health and safety procedures, safe operating practices, including first aid.• Full UK Driving licence.• Enjoy walking outdoors. ResponsibilitiesYou will:• visit our current walks, help lead our weekly walks when required, help recruit and train new volunteers and help start up new walk in Stirlingshire• process weekly registers • Keep our walking emails up to date and answer any queries. The IndividualAt Active Stirling we are driven by the desire to improve people’s lives through getting more people, more active, more often.
