Our children are the focus of everything we do and we value the mental health and wellbeing of all members of the school community above everything else. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Playworkers to join our friendly Peacock Club wraparound care team. This is a term-time only role with flexible sessions available, making it ideal for both experienced childcare practitioners and those looking to begin a career in childcare. Working Hours · Breakfast Club: 7:30am to 8:45am · After-School Club: 3:25pm to 6:00pm (5:00pm on Fridays) The Role You will: ·       Supervise and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities. ·       Prepare simple snacks and drinks. ·       Work closely with parents and school staff. ·       Maintain records and report any concerns. ·       Administer basic first aid when required. ·       Attend relevant training. We're Looking For Someone Who: ·       Is kind, patient and enthusiastic. ·       Enjoys working with children. ·       Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team. ·       Is organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative. Essential ·       Experience working with children, or a genuine interest in pursuing a career in childcare. ·       Good verbal and written communication skills. ·       Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Desirable ·       Level 3 Early Years qualification. ·       Paediatric First Aid qualification. Full training will be provided.
