Nanny

A wonderful family based in Brook Green is looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to join them in keeping the house running smoothly, but mainly supporting their 9 month old through his early years. The days and hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm or 9:30am – 6pm, with a 30 minute break between housekeeping duties and picking up the little one. The day begins with the housekeeping side of the role - deep cleaning of the bedrooms (including changing sheets), kitchen and bathrooms, laundry and ironing, meal planning and preparation, errand running (post office, dry cleaning) and food shopping, all spread comfortably across the five days. Nursery pick-up is at 1pm, a short walk from the house, with a stop off at the park on the way home before his afternoon nap at around 2pm. Once he's up, the rest of the afternoon is filled with fun activities, whether indoors or out and about, before dinner and the parents arrive home for the evening routine at 6pm. He's an easy-going little one who's crawling everywhere - always on the move, exploring the world around him and rarely wanting to stay still. The ideal candidate is proactive, kind and joyful, with a naturally caring and organised approach and strong communication skills. They'll be experienced and confident with housekeeping, bringing that same energy and care into this side of the role, and will be comfortable and confident around the family's friendly cat. Above all, they'll be someone happy to become a trusted, long-term part of the family, and open to travelling with them from time to time, though this isn't essential. Spanish speaking would be a bonus.
