The Abbey School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Science Technician to join the Science Department, to start with immediate effect. We’re looking for a reliable and organised Science Technician to support the delivery of practical science lessons. You’ll prepare equipment, maintain laboratory resources, and help ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for students. This is a part time, term-time only, permanent role, paid on the Kent Scheme Range grade KSB ( FTE £26,822. - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £16,007 per annum ). The working pattern will consist of 26 hours per week. Working pattern is to be discussed and agreed at interview-level. The successful candidate will have an attention to detail, will work to a high standard, and will seek to ensure a positive educational environment through their work.
