B1 Licensed Engineer – B737NG Base Maintenance Location: South Wales, UK Contract Type: Contract Duration: 9 Months Start Date: ASAP Rate: £60.00 – £64.00 per hour Rotation: Monday–Friday or 7 on / 7 off Aircraft: B737NG Maintenance: Base Maintenance The Role We are currently seeking experienced B1 Licensed Engineers with B737NG experience to support a long-term Base Maintenance programme in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established aircraft maintenance operation on a 9-month contract , carrying out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities on B737NG aircraft. Both Monday–Friday and 7 on / 7 off working patterns are available. Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled and unscheduled Base Maintenance on B737NG aircraft. Perform inspections, defect rectification and troubleshooting. Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with approved aircraft maintenance data and company procedures. Supervise and certify maintenance activities within the scope of licence and company approvals. Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Support mechanics and technicians throughout maintenance inputs. Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance at all times. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft inputs are completed efficiently and within agreed deadlines. Candidate Requirements B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer. B737NG type rating. Previous B737NG Base Maintenance experience. Strong technical and troubleshooting capabilities. Good understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and procedures. Ability to work effectively within a busy Base Maintenance environment. Available to start ASAP or at short notice. Must hold a UK or Irish passport. Contract Package £60.00 – £64.00 per hour. 9-month contract. Choice of Monday–Friday or 7 on / 7 off rotation. Long-term Base Maintenance programme. ASAP start.
