We are now seeking to recruit Associate Professor in Physiotherapy Basic Science to support the education and development of students through innovative teaching, curriculum delivery and academic guidance ensuring they acquire the knowledge, skills and practical competencies required for future careers in the field. The successful candidate will be based in Cairo. Appointments will initially be for two years, following the satisfactory completion of a probationary period (3 months). The Associate Professor in Physiotherapy Basic Science role is focused on delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the academic leadership and development of innovative programs in Physiotherapy Basic Science. Coordinating the preparation, delivery, review, and enhancement of the module, also responsible for undertaking the teaching duties assigned by the Dean/Head of Department, and producing learning and teaching material and delivering either across a range of modules or within a subject area. Ensures the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programs in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy, and procedures, contribute to activities that influence leading-edge practice, and may also undertake research activity Job Responsibilities Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy Basic Science programs. Design and develop innovative curriculum content that reflects current industry practices, trends, and advancements in Physiotherapy Basic Science. Utilize cutting-edge teaching methodologies, including digital tools and collaborative approaches, to foster problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Build and maintain strong links with the Physiotherapy Basic Science industry, professional, and technical organisations to enhance program relevance and graduate employability. Organise and participate in industry-focused events, workshops, and partnerships, including internships and collaborative projects. Promote the department’s work through public engagement, and media collaborations. Lead and contribute to high-impact research, projects, or practice-based work with national and international recognition. Publish research outputs in academic journals, industry platforms, or professional conferences. Identify areas where current provision is in need of revision or improvement and contribute/assist to the planning, design, and development of objectives and material. Ensure that the Module Specifications and delivery are consistent with the objectives and procedures of the Programme, University regulations
