An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Controller / Security Governance professional to join a leading contractor delivering projects across highly regulated defence and secure infrastructure environments. Please note: This is a security governance and compliance role, not a physical security, CCTV monitoring, guarding security position. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing government security requirements, personnel vetting, security assurance and compliance activities within a regulated environment. Based from the Glasgow office, you will support secure projects across Scotland, ensuring security arrangements remain compliant throughout the project lifecycle. The Role As Regional Security Controller, you will act as the focal point for project security matters, supporting compliance with contractual, personnel, information and government security requirements. Key responsibilities include: Managing personnel vetting processes including BPSS, CTC, SC and DV clearances. Liaising with UKSV and stakeholders on clearance applications, renewals and compliance. Monitoring vetting compliance across employees, subcontractors and supply chain partners. Preparing and maintaining Security Aspects Letters (SALs), Security Management Plans (SMPs) and security documentation. Supporting compliance with JSP 440, GovS007 and the HMG Security Policy Framework. Supporting secure information handling requirements, including Official-Sensitive and classified information.
