Network Engineer Hybrid Working Regional Travel Required Contract Duration: 6 Months initially Outside IR35 We are seeking a Senior Network Architect to join a growing communications and infrastructure technology team delivering advanced networking and security solutions across large-scale transportation and critical operational environments. This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing network architectures that underpin essential public services. This role offers flexible working alongside visits to regional offices and project sites across the UK. The Opportunity As a Network Architect , you will take ownership of the design and delivery of complex telecommunications and network solutions, supporting operational systems including: Secure LAN/WAN network infrastructure SCADA and control system networks CCTV and surveillance systems Voice and communications platforms Passenger information and operational technology systems Cyber security and network protection solutions Backbone communications and transmission networks You'll work closely with customers, delivery partners, project teams, systems engineers and technical stakeholders, translating business and operational requirements into innovative, secure and scalable network architectures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced network professional who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, implementation and commissioning.
