Job role 
Logistics and Manufacturing (L&M) manage a wide range of activities within Transport for London – including overhauling, manufacturing and fabricating railway points and crossings, carpentry, plant equipment and a wide range of train components including electronics, electro-mechanical and pneumatics - from wheels, brakes and motors, through radios and door motors to signalling equipment - in one of London’s largest manufacturing businesses.  


We are looking for a candidate to become a key member of the L&M Quality and Compliance team, to ensure and provide evidence to the Head of Logistics & Manufacturing, that First Line Assurance activities (including Safety Critical Parts and Items) within Asset Operations comply to LUL Cat 1 Safety Critical Engineering Standards and documented Maintenance Regimes.  Thus, ensuring that the specified levels of safety, quality, reliability and cost are consistently achieved and driven down by suppliers (internal maintainers and external suppliers) of spares, overhaul and repair services. Additionally structure, conduct, monitor and report on Audits, to ensure that business risks are understood, addressed and comply with LUL standards.
