VOLUNTEER WITH SUNSHINE! Fundraising Volunteers Wanted! Could YOU help us raise the SUNSHINE we need to get started? SUNSHINE Charity is setting up — and we're on a mission to raise the seed funding we need to launch our charity and start delivering the programmes, activities and support that people experiencing loneliness and social isolation need. We're looking for enthusiastic, creative and motivated fundraising volunteers who can help us turn ideas into fundraising opportunities and help us build the financial foundations of SUNSHINE . Whether you've got fundraising experience, grant-writing skills, digital fundraising knowledge, business connections, event ideas — or simply a brilliant idea and the enthusiasm to make it happen ... WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! WHAT YOU'LL HELP US DO Working with our Founder and wider SUNSHINE team, you'll help us explore and develop different ways to raise the funds we need to get started. This could include: Crowdfunding & Digital Fundraising Help us create and promote online fundraising campaigns that get people excited about SUNSHINE and inspire them to support what we're trying to achieve. Small Grant Applications Help identify suitable grant opportunities and support us with researching, writing and submitting small grant applications. Fundraising Activities & Events Help us come up with fun, creative and achievable fundraising ideas — and help organise small fundraising activities and events. Business Support & Donations Help us approach local businesses and companies to explore opportunities for: Donations Sponsorship Gifts in Kind Community Support Partnerships Fundraising Campaigns Help us develop creative fundraising campaigns that tell the SUNSHINE story and inspire people to get behind us. Community Fundraising Help us find new ways for individuals, groups, communities and supporters to raise money for SUNSHINE . Bring Your Own Ideas! Have a fundraising idea we've never thought of? We want to hear it! WE'RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO... You might have experience in: Fundraising Grant Writing Digital Fundraising Marketing & Campaigns Events Business Development Corporate Partnerships Crowdfunding Income Generation But you don't have to be a fundraising professional. We're also looking for people who are: Passionate & enthusiastic Creative & full of ideas Confident communicators Friendly & approachable Proactive & willing to get stuck in Organised & reliable Passionate about making a difference Most importantly... HYBRID VOLUNTEER ROLE A few hours per week The majority of fundraising activity can be carried out remotely , making this a flexible volunteer opportunity. Occasionally, you may be asked to attend activities in Tower Hamlets and across Inner London , including: Fundraising Events Business & Community Meetings Fundraising Campaign Activities SUNSHINE Events Volunteer Meetings HELP US GET SUNSHINE OFF THE GROUND! We're at the beginning of our journey. That means your contribution could make a HUGE difference. You won't simply be joining an established fundraising department. You'll be helping us BUILD one.
