Working week: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
Job type: Temporary, ongoing basis
Pay rate: £13

Our client is seeking a professional, organised, and proactive Receptionist to join their busy office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues while providing high quality administrative support across the business.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities and able to deliver a professional service in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, creating a welcoming and professional office environment.


• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently, taking accurate messages and ensuring enquiries are handled appropriately.


• Manage meeting room bookings and prepare meeting facilities including refreshments and IT equipment.


• Coordinate business travel and accommodation arrangements for employees.


• Liaise with external suppliers, consultants, stakeholders and senior management.


• Produce, amend, format, and proofread documents to a high standard.


• Scan, print, photocopy and manage business documentation.


• Prepare and collate information for large scale mailings and stakeholder communications.


• Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and administrative records ensuring information is accurate and up to date.


• Monitor and follow up on outstanding actions where required.


• Provide occasional administrative support across wider business functions.


• Undertake other administrative duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administration, or front-of-house position.


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.


• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work.


• The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team environment.


• A professional, trustworthy and reliable manner.
