Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced)

Job AdvertFalkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) for Sacred Heart RC Primary School. You will provide support within mainstream and our Flexible Learning Base to enhance experiences and achievement for all. You will undertake a range of support activities such as general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children. Experience of working with children with additional support needs is preferred. Good communication skills are essential and ability to be flexible as we respond to the needs of our school. You should enjoy working as part of a team and place importance on building positive relationships. You will work 22 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be 9.00am-3.15pm Tuesday to Friday. This post is temporary until June 2027 due to service requirement. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
