Position Details:
- Job Title: School Administrator
- Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
- Start Date: September 2026
- Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience
- Contract Type: Temporary ongoing contract
- Location: Newcastle
Key Responsibilities:
As the School Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of our client's school. Your responsibilities will include:
Warm Welcomes: Greet parents, staff, and visitors with a smile, offering outstanding customer service and support.
Communication Hub: Handle incoming calls and ensure they are directed to the right person or department.
Administrative Support: Provide vital assistance across various departments to help keep the school running smoothly.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records using internal systems, ensuring everything is up-to-date.
Reception Coverage: Cover the reception area as needed, ensuring a friendly atmosphere for everyone who enters.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A positive, professional, and flexible approach to work.
A DBS and stringent compliance checks will be conducted before the role begins. If you already hold a DBS Check on the current Update Service, that's a plus!
