Support Worker

We are looking for patient, resilient and experienced Support Workers to provide 2:1 support to a young adult with a learning disability in a family home. The role includes: • Prompting with personal care and daily routines • Supporting communication – Makaton experience desirable • Positive behaviour support and managing behaviours that may challenge • Supporting community access, education and activities • Encouraging independence and meaningful activities such as cooking and baking • Supporting attendance at an education centre and farm placement Shift Pattern: 2:1 support | 12-hour day and night shifts Driver preferred but not essential – a vehicle is available for support.
