Accounts Receivable Assistant Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Darlington based business with their temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant requirement. This will be a rolling contract, offering an immediate start. The Role As Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will: Support the Accounts Receivable team in reducing a backlog of outstanding invoices and aged debt. Allocate cash accurately across customer accounts. Investigate and resolve unallocated cash, payment discrepancies and account queries. Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring balances are accurate and up to date. Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain remittances and resolve billing issues. The Candidate To be successful in this process, you'll have: Previous experience within Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control. Strong reconciliation skills with experience managing unallocated cash Confident working with high volumes of transactional data and maintaining accuracy. Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems, with the ability to pick up new processes quickly. Proactive, organised and able to manage a busy workload while working to deadlines.
